"Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end; then stop."
The world, at moments, does feel like a wonderland; non-shall ant, riddle-like wisps.
We choose where to begin and we decide when to stop.
But, if you are claiming you had no choice, and you did not decide. Well then, why are you saying you live a 'life' when a 'life' consists of multiple choices, in which YOU make.
Neither of those multiple choices are wrong, in fact they're not right.
You chose because you felt and that feeling is truth and the truth bares no wrong or right; it simply IS.
You could have decided to; or not to, you will still be waking a path in a direction.
