An Appealing Shade Of Ginger

It's such a joy to cook; for others, that is. I have recently found my new passion for cooking! I think when I get completely inspired by a recipe, I will post it on my blog. So that whomever reads my blog is able to take part in whatever it is that I'm uber ecstatic about. (Only 4 star HOMEMADE RECIPES OF COURSE!) I seem to be that "type" of "Cook" that takes pleasure in serving others. Not having the courage to sit down and indulge in whatever it is that I have made. WHO CARES WHAT I THINK!You need the opinion of OTHERS in cooking. To complete the meal and give my dish that je ne sais quoi, I need YOUR scrumptious all knowing taste buds!! So I will start off by posting my FAV-Recipe of the week: FETTUCCINI ALFREDO WITH SALMON, SPINACHE AND DRIED TOMATOES What You will need:
  • Fettuccini
  • Salmon (cooked, poched preferred)
  • Spinache (cooked)
  • Dried Tomatoes
  • Butter
  • Parmasean Cheese
  • Milk
  • Capers
  • Oregano
  • Flour
Directions:
  1. In a medium sized pot, bring water to a boil. Cook Fettucini for 11-13 minutes. (I like it al-dente). Drain.
  2. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, melt the butter and blend with milk. Mix in the Flour to thicken the sauce (about a tblspn.) Stir in the Parmasean cheese until FULLY melted.
  3. Crumble the salmon into the mixture. Stir in the Spinache, capers and sun-dried tomatoes. Use Oregano, salt and pepper to your Tasting. Cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Serve On cooked pasta!
p.s I also added some pine nuts that gave it an extra flavour. (You can use walnuts also)
THERE YOU GO! PLEASE ENJOY!
